Our quarterly magazine is out!! Big thanks to Mena Nunes, Luan Quach and everyone who helped put this together! Canadian Watercolour, Fall 2024 the magazine of IWS Canada, available for online browsing and download.
We are hard at work preparing our Fall IWS Canada Magazine, in the meantime we will post our call for the next Member’s Challenge, the photo chosen by previous winner, Abdulla Naseeb Nuckchady .
This one is a water themed painting, suggested study would be with Inna Nagaytseva ‘s workshop starting Sept 15th to improve your water painting techniques. the winner will be voted on at our October 27th Sunday meeting.
The winner will receive a set of Blueberry Watercolour paints from Rockwell.
We can’t wait to meet those of you who will be dropping off paintings tomorrow (Thursday Sept 5th) for our show, at Visual Arts Mississauga. 4170 Riverwood Park Lane Mississauga ON L5C 2S7
Please come as early as you can so we can get your painting up on the wall for our visitors to see. (We open at 9am)
Another note, we will be holding our official opening ceremony at the end of the day on Friday instead of Thursday. (around 3:45pm)

We are pleased to announce a 3 day intensive workshop by Inna Nagaytseva , this is the first part in a series of online workshops by our top artists to help our members overcome hurdles and learn difficult to master techniques. Inna is an expert at painting water scenes, which can often be tricky. Do you struggle with nautical scenes? then this workshop is for you! Please reserve your place by clicking below. all our demos at UNITED THROUGH WATERCOLOUR are now FREE for all IWS Canada Members! We have removed the $100 workshop fee to be sure as many of our members as possible can benefit from this opportunity to learn from maser painters. Take advantage of this chance and sign up now to reserve your spot (max 20 people per workshop)
Non members can still attend if they pay the $45 yearly membership fee and become official members of IWS Canada.
We will be giving free IWS Canada pins to all our members attending the show. If we don’t notice you and give you one first, just come and request one at our IWS Canada booth.
