Ian Wright – President
Ian Wright dedicates himself full time to the expansion and growth of IWS Canada.
With the mission to reach across Canada and the world to bring people together around the shared love of watercolour. To help you to continue to grow and improve to become the best artist you can be!
Luan Quach – Advisory Director
Our former Vice President who has chosen to step down and take a new role as Advisory Director. He will lend his expertise in judging future competitions and events, applying his master’s eye in evaluating the hallmarks of what makes a masterful watercolour.

Chris’ WordPress skills are unparalleled and helps keep things on track with our website updates and more!
She keeps us up to date with posting the latest news from IWS Canada and what events to look forward to!
Tati Tung and Marcia de Aquino – Quebec (and French Canada) Area Representative
have been very busy in Montreal, organizing Plein Air events and bringing together the local IWS Canada community. We look forward to many great events in Montreal and Quebec in the future! Lorraine Simonds – BC Area Representative
Tirelessly dedicating herself to countless live events in the BC area, Lorraine coordinates a segment of our magazine specifically designed to cater to our many BC members.
Milena Guberenic – Ontario Area Representative
Has been producing artwork at a very rapid pace, and achieving many great accomplishments. Most recently being accepted as a Finalist for the prestigious Splash 26: Best in Watercolour, art competition! From her base in South Western Ontario, She will assume the position of Ontario Area Representative, to reach out to communities all around the province and continue to grow IWS Canada, across Ontario and beyond!
Inna Nagaytseva – Alberta Area Representative
Inna is very motivated to expand watercolour and IWS Canada in the Calgary area. If you would like to help her out, she is eager to meet you! She is a master at painting boats and whales and conducts many local workshops and outings, most recently the Alberta in Watercolour exhibition in Calgary.
Roberta Luchinski – Prairie Area Rep
Roberta Luchinski is a watercolour artist living near Tobin Lake SK, who pursues a loose, impressionistic style in her painting.
As often as possible, Roberta paints en plein-air to capture Saskatchewan’s varied landscapes. In addition to IWS, Roberta is affiliated with Artists in Canada, Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, and local art organizations in her surrounding communities.
Maryna Salagub – Social Media Manager
Maryna has taken over our instagram page and is bringing it up to speed to reflect all that is going on across IWS Canada and the world! Her Social media expertise is greatly valued as we continue to modernize and streamline our organization.
Anca Dimoff – Membership Coordinator
Anca is revolutionizing our list of members, making sure it is up to date and that it shows off all the online locations to find updates, news and latest works. This way, members will be able to link directly to their IWS Canada profiles, share info with other members and, and show of their achievements and take pride in being a member of IWS Canada!
Mena Nunes – Creative Designer
Mena is helping us out with her wonderful design skills to keep the IWS Canada quarterly Magazine looking great, and getting the word out about all your latest works and endeavours.
Coral Ye Chen – International Director
Spearheading the IWS Canada exhibition “Stories in Light”, Coral has been busy organizing our biggest live international event in over 4 years, and featuring master watercolour artists from around the world!
Peggy Burkowsky – IWS Regional Director
Acting as our international delegate, Peggy has recently represented IWS Canada in such far away places as Turkey and Japan!
